Episode 217: The Halifax Explosion (part II)

In part 2 we conclude our coverage of the devastating explosion which destroyed Halifax, Nova Scotia in December 1917. We examine the heroic acts of survivors, why the military presence was crucial in the aftermath, and how the city coped with the growing number of dead.
